Before starting Zepbound®

Before starting Zepbound®, Tanya Zboril, NP of TBT Medical will review your medical history, including any previous issues with your pancreas, kidneys, or severe stomach problems. They will also discuss potential interactions with other medications you are taking.

Zepbound® is administered as a subcutaneous injection once a week. The initial dose is 2.5 mg, which is increased gradually, based on patient tolerance and response. The maximum dose is 15 mg weekly. It is important to rotate injection sites with each dose to avoid irritation.
